Dinner In My Kitchen is a partnership between CREATE Portage County and Farmshed, that features our friends and neighbors sharing the food that they grew up eating. Culturally authentic, locally sourced, and lovingly prepared, this dinner will feature food that Erica West eats in her BLACK kitchen. Gitfed Hand Kitchen is a family-owned catering business started in May 2021 by husband and wife duo Erica and Deondre West. They have a relationship spanning 14 years and 3 beautiful children Patrick, Zania, and Deondre Jr. Between Erica and Deondre they have 30 years of food service experience.

Aside from work experience we both shared a love for hosting events at our home for family, friends, and holidays and cooking delicious southern soul food cuisine that represent our family's Mississippi and Arkansas lineages. We decided to share our gift for cooking and began traveling to various county fairs and events around Central and Northern Wisconsin and even expanded our services to include catering as well.

We are honored to continue serving the central and northern Wisconsin communities and we can’t wait to feed your soul with Gifted Hands Kitchen quality southern soul food cuisine.

Join us on Febuary 21st, 2022 at The Local Goat Company in Amherst. Seating begins at 5:15, bar service will be provided by The Local Goat. Dinner will be served at 6:00 pm.
